I have created a new homework titled "Early hw R3, R4" in ALEKS.
If you have finished Assignment 1, please start this assignment right away.
Assignment 2 (same material) starts later. It was set up by the department and I can't change it myself.
Please do only one of these assignments. if you do this early hw, you don't have to do assignment 2 later.

yesterday (monday) we started the class looking at the real number system and its subsets (section R1 in ebook).
We saw how to identify irrational numbers using their decimal expansions, different notations for describing subsets of the real numbers,
and unions and intersections of such subsets. Please do the ALEKS assignment problems from those topics.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOING ALEKS ASSIGNMENT:
1. Get ebook (see course page) from bookstore (not elsewhere) and use ALEKS code that comes with it to get into ALEKS.
2. Use class code that was given on course page to get into class page on ALEKS.
