1. Talk at JMM 2019
about history of Black mathematics
The
New York Times recently ran an article centered on this talk and the work
of our friend and NAM President Edray Goins to increase the number of black Ph.Ds
at the top levels of mathematics research.
A video of this talk along with other invited
addresses delivered at these joint meetings in Baltimore is available at this AMS
website.
[For people interested in number theory I highly
recommend Benedict (Dick) GrossÕ talk on Complex Multiplication --Ed].
