Not everything will be the same but you can get an idea.

JOURNAL ASSIGNMENTS ARE 40% OF GRADE. IF YOU PAY ATTENTION, EASY TO GET THEM RIGHT.

Journal assignments will be posted under "Assignments" on Canvas. I will keep commenting and grading. Each entry (on a different math concept) gets 20 points. Weekly journal assignments are worth 160 for the semester, but there maybe some extra credit at the end. There will also be a course project also to be filed under Assignments, worth 40 points. All Journal assignments together worth 200.
MANY OF THE CLASS NOTES BELOW WILL CONTAIN JOURNAL ENTRY SUGGESTIONS.

Instructions for preparing for first class on Monday 1/13/2022.
IMPORTANT:Whether doing the Journals or Tests, you are expected, by the Honor code of the university, to do the work by yourself.
Any violation will result in forfeiture of journal or test grade or even an F in class.

We will have journal assignment due each week, and questions and suggestions will be given during class, and they will count for 40% of grade. Only correct answers get credit.
On canvas instructions for starting course journal will be posted. Basically you will do them in "Assignments."
